Review of Priconne, One of the Best Mobile Games of 2021

Priconne is a free-to-play JRPG (Japanese Role-Playing Game) developed by Cygames. Originally created for Japanese and Chinese audiences only, Priconne has recently had a global release. The game includes many pros such as characters, combat, and storyline while also includes a few cons like pricing of premium currency and character pull rates.

The main feature of Priconne is storyline. While it does begin stereotypically where the player starts off in another world without their memories, the game quickly becomes exciting with interesting mysteries and enjoyable characters. The world of the game is shrouded in mystery and cliffhangers every chapter.

Another interesting feature of the game is combat. The animations and artwork make the combat system eye catching. There is also strategy with both timing moves and planning what team to use. Within combat there are both player vs player and player vs monster forms.Though the combat in the game requires stamina for the player to play, the game does give enough stamina for casual players although more dedicated players may have to use the premium currency to get more.

However, if combat is not your favorite thing in games another stunning feature in Priconne is character design. The artwork for every character is carefully drawn and all characters have unique animations and costumes. Every character is also fully voice acted and has a unique story and background. However, the gacha system makes it hard to get characters.

The gacha system is the most controversial feature of most games, including Priconne. This system enables players to spend real money for a chance to get better characters. The rates of getting a character of the highest rarity is low, at only a 2.5% chance. For most casual players, this isn’t a problem, however, anybody who wished to participate in high-level player vs player combat would have to get extremely lucky, or spend money.

Overall, Priconne is a good game with few flaws. The game’s design for both story and characters is amazing and alone makes the game worth playing at least once. Issues such as stamina and the gacha system can be overlooked by most players. The best part about the game is that it is completely free-to-play and can be enjoyed by all.
