 1. Cuphead

“Cuphead” is a run and gun arcade game with art and music inspired by cartoons from the 1930s.

Players control the protagonists Cuphead and MugMan, both of whom have a cup for a head.

Cuphead and Mugman bet their souls against the Devil and lost, but because they do not want to give up their souls, they made a deal with the Devil to collect the souls of his debtors.

In order to collect the souls, players have to engage in “boss battles,” a fight between the player and an enemy that is significantly tougher than other enemies in the game.

The game is influenced by the 30s, hense the music and design.


2. Alice: Madness Returns

Alice: Madness Returns is a dark yet hauntingly intricate and beautiful game. The interesting style of gameplay keeps the player coming back for more. You play as Alice Liddell, who, after surviving her family’s death and being handled by many asylums, must figure out how to save her dark and crumbling mental health and her Wonderland. Her search to find her family’s killer has many obstacles and deadly foes in her path, but only through her dark past can she find her future.


3. Planet Coaster

Following Atari’s release of “RollerCoaster Tycoon World” (“RCTW”), the series fanbase quickly decided that “Planet Coaster” was the superior spiritual successor, consistently receiving a 9 out of 10 on Steam.

Created by Frontier Developments and published for Windows operating systems, “Planet Coaster” is the perfect game for building and managing an amusement park. Featuring multiple camera modes, high-detail textures, the ability to customize almost everything, constant updates and more, the game is perfect for those who loved the older “Rollercoaster Tycoon” series.
