Late Night is a fun way to kick off the basketball season.

“Late Night is a great opportunity for our community to get an idea of what both boys and girls basketball is going to look like that year,” Dan Morrow, boys basketball coach, said.

During the event, drill team and the cheerleaders performed. The basketball teams were introduced and there were scrimmages as well as contests and raffles.

“The purpose of Late Night is to get the school excited for the basketball season,” Mike Allen, girls basketball coach, said.

There were many fans, parents and students at Late Night, so much so that it was as big of a success as last year.

Two activities that occurred this year were a three-point contest between the girls and a dunking contest between the boys.

“The sponsors of Late Night were from local businesses”; however, “the boys and girls Booster Clubs organized the event,” Morrow explained.
