For the regular season, the volleyball team’s win percentage was .412.

“Each player has a different skills, whether it’s passing, hitting, or serving, etc. The more skills each player has the better for the team altogether,” Ken Talcott, Head coach, said.

The Louisburg tournament on Sept. 29 was a success for the volleyball team. They had a five-win streak throughout the tournament, making them the winners. At the Dig Pink tournament on Oct. 5 at Olathe Northwest (ONW), the volleyball team lost 2-0 to ONW.

“A highlight this season is winning the games that we have won because it’s been a hard season,” Annika Carlson, junior, said.

At the sub-state tournament, on Oct. 24, the volleyball team lost to the winners of the tournament, ONW and Blue Valley West, and will not be advancing to the state championships.

“As a team we try to improve and always get better with our communication skills and work as a team,” Mikayla Smith, senior, said,

“The highlight as a coach this year was just the fact that the players are here, are working hard, and happy together,” Talcott said.
