As the air becomes more crisp and we move into the fall months, we creep up on Halloween. This year’s Halloween will obviously look different due to Covid. There’s been no word on trick or treating so far, but we do know parties aren’t in the best of interest, but this can’t stop you from dressing up and getting in the spirit.

This year is the best opportunity to get your closest friends to dress up with and have a fun photoshoot to show off your perfectly thought out costumes. Looking at the social media apps, Tiktok and Instagram, or even going online can give you some good inspiration. Here’s some ideas for you and your friends to try:

  • Daphne & Velma
  • Anonymous
  • Powerpuff Girls
  • Jimmy Neutron Carl & Sheen
  • Sun Moon & Stars
  • Earth Water Air & Fire Benders
  • Halloween Mean Girls
  • Woody and Buzz

Maybe you’re flying solo this year. Still a perfect time to go all out and dress up. Get a camera and show off! And why pick one costume when there’s so many you could choose from.  Here’s some ideas:

  • Cowgirl(boy)
  • The Tiger King
  • Carole Baskin
  • Secret Agent
  • Ben 10
  • Barbie
  • Bratz Doll
  • Cher (from Clueless)

Regardless of what you wear this Halloween you should focus on wearing something that you feel powerful in. You don’t have to be a character. Go with an euphoria theme, or the 90s. Be bold and use the future you envision for yourself. If you want to be an actor or a celebrity of some origin dress the part. Wear some sunglasses, a big fur coat and the best pearls you can find from party city. Then strut like you’ve never before.
