Students and families met in the main gym to recognize student athletes that are continuing sports in college at the athletic signing event on May 3.

Matthew Johnson, athletic director, said that “we [had] approximately 30 athletes that we [were] recognizing,” for being signed to play sports in college. Coaches of athletes spent one to two minutes discussing each athlete.

Each athlete got to invite their family and 10 of their friends.

“I believe that the athletes are very excited to continue their athletic experience at the next level,” Johnson said.

Everyone who attended the event during seminar, also got to enjoy some refreshments.
