“Any blood drive is a success,” Verstraete said and she would like to especially thank the sponsors for supporting the blood drive.

All blood types are accepted, but O negative is the universal blood type.

During the time of the blood drive, four to eight students help work each hour while the drive is going on. Students that work the blood drive will be checking people in, walking donors back to class and working the refreshments table.

The next blood drive will be Nov. 9, 2018.
