The boys swim and dive team wrapped up their season with an eighth place finish at the state championship meet Feb. 15-17 in Topeka.

The teams eighth place, is the highest the team has placed since the mid ‘90s.

Ben Stoeck, junior, received medals in two of his individual events, eighth place in the 200 and 500 freestyle. Bennett Junkins, Zac Crockett and Brandon Powell, juniors, along with Ian Wiley, sophomore, and Flecther Smith, freshman, scored points for the team.

The 200 medley relay placed 11th, the 200 free relay placed sixth and the 400 free relay placed seventh.
