School has commenced and so have clubs.

Anyone with an interest in science can keep an eye out for Science Olympiad. The club meets on Saturday mornings from around 9-10a.m. to noon, breakfast provided, and on weekdays after school.

All fields of science from Biology to programming are explored in Science Olympiad. “We’ve even built a robotic arm and a hovercraft,” Rithik Madhanna, Science Olympiad president, said.

The goal is to go to events and compete. “Competitions are usually in a different school, and there are different events at different times,” Madhanna said.

“Competitions will start on Nov. 18th,” Bryon Hargrove, Science Olympiad sponsor, said.

Anyone who wants to sign up should see Hargrove in room 1204 or in his office, room 1200A.
