The annual Golden Girls Spring Show took place on April 29.

“Spring Show is a show at the end of the year where all the Golden Girls dances are showcased. There are dances we perform at competition and dances we choreographed,” Meadow Eddleman, sophomore, said.

Each year the drill team coaches come up with a special theme of the show. Last year it was Great Gatsby. This year it was Home.

“The coaches decided the theme with some input from us,” Grace Gillen, sophomore, said.

For Spring Show, many girls were given the opportunity of performing a solo. Seniors who performed a solo for competition and seniors who wanted to perform a solo did so at Spring Show.

By the end of Spring Show, many of the girls felt accomplished and were fond of the memories that they made.

“I made many memories, but some of my favorites are having our pep circle, dancing with the freshmen for the first time and getting to dance with the seniors before they graduate,” Eddleman said.
