New shows will keep you glued to the TV: Westworld

HBO’s new T.V. series “Westworld,” based on the 1973 film by the same name, is imaginative and will make viewers want to figure out what really is gong on in the story.

“Westworld” is set in the future, where an amusement park by the same name allows guests to live out their fantasies through artificial consciousness without any repercussions.

However, something goes wrong with the programming and the hosts (androids who act out visitors’ fantasies) start killing the guests.

The show is very ambiguous and though-provoking. Viewers will be left wondering who is an actual person and who is a robot, and question the characters’ real motivations.

One of the big mysteries of the show is the identity of the Man in Black (Ed Harris), a person who goes around killing people inside Westworld for no apparent reason. Mysteries like this keep the viewer engaged in the story.

However, some viewers will find the story slow.

The show takes a few episodes to set up its world, and the pace at which the episodes move to reach the exciting parts feel somewhat tedious.

Regardless of its flaws, “Westworld” has a lot of potential, and those patient enough to sit through its slow parts will find the show rewarding to watch.
