Trent Abeln, junior, was crowned Mr. Falcon on March 26. Mr. Falcon was a male pageant that featured 14 classmates that competed in a talent portion, popularity portion and the presentation of Mr. Falcon.

The talent portion ranged from playing “My Heart Will Go On” on the recorder to break dancing.

The winner of it all was Trent Abeln who didn’t only win Mr. Falcon but also won the popularity portion.

The winner of Mr. Congeniality was Trent Arnold. The event’s profits went entirely to charity and in total over $500 were raised.

All the contestants are very proud of this achievement even if they didn’t win it all. Brandon Keeling was a participant in Mr. Falcon and he did it for the charity Heart to Heart International.

Heart to Heart International is a charity that specializes in volunteer action and worldwide humanitarian assistance. Keeling chose this charity because he said; “It’s a game changer and really provides help for people in need.”

At Mr. Falcon there were several different outfits that were presented.

For example Trent Abeln was dressed as a Native American chief, Trent Arnold was a policeman, and Carson Skiles did his best Crocodile Dundee costume.

On deciding his costume Keeling said, “I searched my soul to try and be the best fireman I could.”

All the students who participated did it for different reasons some did it for the charity, some did it just for the fun, while others had different stories.

“I was kind of forced into it by Matt Minelli,” said Keeling.

Overall, Mr. Falcon benefitted charities and will be an annual event.
