The new sports hydration drink, Prime, made by YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI has been taking over the drink world. The two started out as rivals, actually boxing twice before becoming business partners. They announced that they would fight for a third time on instagram live, and instead of fighting revealed they had started the company together. 

The crazy part about the drink is that it is really flavorful, and actually healthy. It has 25 calories, a total of two grams of sugar, and 835 milligrams of electrolytes. For reference, in comparison to gatorade, there is 36 grams of sugar, 50 calories, and 900 milligrams of electrolytes. Gatorade has just 65 milligrams of electrolytes more than Prime, but has double the calories and 16 times the amount of sugar.

In comparison to Powerade, it has 36 grams of sugar, 80 calories, and 890 milligrams of electrolytes. This is another instance where the electrolytes are higher, but the calories and sugar are both significantly higher. 

The last major hydration drink is Body Armor. Its nutritional statistics contain 36 grams of sugar, 90 calories, and 620 milligrams of electrolytes. Of the four listed so far, Body Armor is the worst for you. Prime is the healthiest one of the bunch, which is another reason it has got so much attention.

There is an argument that Prime lacks electrolytes compared to gatorade and powerade, but is 50-60 milligrams of such worth it for the much larger margin of sugar and calories? That is a question that will be answered in time based on the sales of the companies.

People may also not take Prime seriously with it being made by YouTubers, especially so in the older generations. That is the only big factor that can hold the business back, in the eyes of many they are immature YouTubers and they might not take it seriously.

Regardless, thus far the company is having great success, being retailed in HyVee, Walmart, and Targets across the world. The company launched in January, and as of the end of March they have made $10 million. If the drink was being sold in gas stations it would also bring in a lot of revenue and sales.

The current 5 flavors are; Blue Raspberry, Tropical Punch, Lemon Lime, Orange, and Grape. In my personal opinion, it is a really good tasting drink, and is good for you. I would recommend Prime Hydration by Logan Paul and KSI.
