“Pod Save America” is a serious yet funny political podcast produced by Crooked Media.

The four men that are part of the production, Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, Dan Pfeiffer and Tommy Vietor, have all worked as White House speech writers or White House correspondents, thus they have a wide scope of political knowledge.

The episodes are rather lighthearted and even sometimes hilarious, but they still address the important aspects of political issues in America.

‘The Magicians’

“The Magicians” is an inventive show about an average guy named Quentin Coldwater (Jason Ralph) and his friend Julia (Stella Maeve), who find out they actually harbor magic.

Quentin gains admittance to Brakebills University, a school for learning magic, and he discovers this fantastical place he’d been reading about as a child, Fillory, is actually real.

He meets a girl named Alice (Olivia Taylor Dudley), who is the smartest girl in school, a party boy magician named Elliot (Hale Appleman), who becomes his best friend, and he even makes a “frenemy” out of a guy who reads minds named Penny (Arjun Gupta), who is forced to help Quentin on his adventures.
